The objective of this discussion is to learn more about Bulgaria’s language and its surroundings. I have learn that Bulgarian is a language on its own and it is written in Cyrillic alphabet. I have read somewhere that Dimitar did not like it when they called him “Dimitri” as he is not Russian but Bulgarian. In regards to that, I have some questions:

1. Is the Cyrillic alphabet identical to the Russian alphabet?
2. Do Bulgarian and Russian languages have similarities?
3. Does Serbia have a language of its own? Do people in Bulgaria understand most of what Serbian people say?

Bulgarian boys and girls… or anyone who knows the answers, please explain. Thank you.

1. Yes, both languages are simillar but yet different...
2. They very much have, but it's still not as easy for bulgarians and russians to communicate as most people think...
3. Yes- it's serbian. Serbian and Bulgarian are something like British English and Scotish English. That's why Vidic and Berba are able to trick Chelsea's deffence in SerboBulgarian. ;)

Thank you, Angel. I always wondered if Vidic and Dimitar communicate on their native language. It is so nice to see them talking when celebrating a goal or the scene you pointed, with the goal vs Chelsea. I think both of them have a better friendship.
