Home vs Arsenal, ratings:
From ManUtd.com: “Nemanja Vidic. An Adebayor-less Arsenal meant the Serbian had a relatively quiet day at the back. Did everything that was asked of him.”
From Goal.com: “Vidic: 6.5 – Perhaps ought to have closed Arshavin down earlier for the goal but otherwise did little wrong.”
From MEN: “Vidic: Not his most dominant and didn’t shut down Arshavin for goal 6.”

Manchester United won 4:3 against ManCity. Vidic played the full match.

Goal.com: “Vidic - 6 - Not a great deal to do, but when Stoke launched the ball in to the box he was the first man to meet it.”
M.E.N: “Vidic: Only one striker to deal with and he played his part in mopping up limited threat 7”

CL: Home vs Wolfsburg 2:1. Ratings:
ManUtd.com: “Nemanja Vidic A cynical foul on Grafite earned the Serbian a booking and he was perhaps lucky to stay on the pitch after another poor tackle. Otherwise, the Serbian was typically robust and solid in the air.”
Goal.com: “Vidic - 5 - Shaky night for the Serb. Headed his team into danger twice and seem flustered by the physical threat posed by Grafite. Could have been given his marching orders for a second booking.”
M.E.N: “5 Vidic: Hauled down the difficult Grafite when he was turned and it summed up his uneasiness.”

Vidic celebrated his birthday playing a Champions League match in Moscow.
From ManUtd.com: “Nemanja Vidic - Booed for his Spartak connections and endured a few nervy moments at the back. The 90 minutes will have done him good, however, and he showed no signs of the ankle trouble that threatened his involvement in the game.”
From Goal.com: “Vidic - 4 - Has yet to kick into top gear this season. Tentative from the beginning, he under hit a number of back passes and struggled to get to grips with Necid.”
From M.E.N.: “Vidic: Didn’t enjoy the best of birthday’s in Moscow where he used to ply his trade for Spartak. Even being reunited with the one-time solid triumvirate didn’t bring out the very best in the Serb 5.”
From The BBC: “United were given a scare when centre-back Nemaja Vidic played his side into trouble and allowed Milos Krasic get in an 18-yard shot which he put over.”

It was the third successive time Vidic is sent off against Liverpool; he was expelled for a second yellow near the end of the match.
ManUtd.com: “Nemanja Vidic. Nothing like his nightmare at Old Trafford, despite his dismissal – his third in three consecutive Liverpool clashes. He produced some important blocks and timely tackles but trailed in Torres’ wake for the opening goal.”
Goal.com: “Vidic - 5 - Given his marching orders for the third time in a row against Liverpool after a block on Kuyt. Played reasonably well otherwise and a soft first booking proved his undoing”
M.E.N.: “Vidic: Had got his head and legs to virtually everything all game but when stretched he suffered 7”
