Rumor has it Dimitar got engaged the winter before last, December 2007 or January 2008. It is customary to get married within two years of the engagement, so it is fair to say that he might get married this year. Reports and rumor in English media (as I cannot read Bulgarian) suggested that he might get married this summer. Members of this site had spoken of May as the month he might get hitch. Well, there are two weeks left of May. Surely, he will not get married this weekend as team B will play the final match of the Premier League and the first team will train and travel for the Champions League final. That leaves May’s last weekend for a probable date, when the responsibilities for the Club have ended for this season. Normally, players go back to their home countries, especially the ones who are involved in the Qualifying stages for the World Cup, as is Dimitar’s case. Bulgarian fans should be very vigilant when Dimitar returns to the Country. By the way, do you know who that girl next to him is?

I read that article... but look at the hundreds of rumors about Ronaldo.. none of them is true...

There is evidence that Dimitar missed his penalty kick on purpose. Please, take this evidence as entertainment:
1. Rumors that Dimitar will get married this summer.
2. Rumors that Dimitar will get married this May.
3. FA Cup final is Saturday May 30.
4. All ManUtd's May weekends have scheduled fixtures, except May 30.
5. Dimitar misses his decisive penalty kick in the FA Cup semifinals.
If Dimitar marries on May 30, one might assume that he missed on purpose so he could have that day off. Scoring his penalty might allowed ManUtd to play the FA Cup final on May 30, moving his ceremony to June.

I am glad this photo caused so much stir. A couple of months ago I posted in the blog about a former girlfriend and we had the same response. Maybe Claire and I read the same articles. I also think that a lot of Bulgarian girls are in denial. I just hope Dimitar does not get married this weekend. You know? It is the FA Cup final. Thinking the darkest possible thing, one might guess that he miss his penalty kick on purpose so that Manchester United would not play the FA Cup final and he could have this weekend off. If that is true, he is so devious and do not deserve to wear the United jersey. I do not mind if he marries in June.
