FIFPro, the International Footballers Association, has published the nominees for the World XI award. There are 55 players distributed in the 4 main field duties. Edwin Van der Sar, Evra, Ferdinand, Vidic, Giggs and Rooney are on the list. Cristiano is also among the nominees. However, Dimitar did not make the cut.
