A few days ago, The Sun published an interview with Dimitar in which he talked about his feelings for Tottenham. As the paper acknowledge, it is an effort to make peace with the Spurs’ fans before Manchester United play Tottenham at White Hart Lane a month from now.

Berbatov wants Spurs peace

Many blogs and news sites reproduced the interview. And I think Dimitar and his agent should take advantage of those multiple sites to check the reaction from the readers and Spurs’ fans. For what I have read in the comment section of a couple of sites, it will be a dangerous place for Dimitar to be in. The fans still hate him, as they always mention the so called strike he had to prevent playing for Tottenham and force his transfer. Ferguson should consider the possibility of Dimitar starting in the bench for that match, with Rooney and Tevez playing at the front. Obviously Dimitar will be abused by the fans even in the bench but it could be worse if he plays the whole match. In the other hand, this situation will make him grow as a person and he is mature enough to take that abuse, unless it becomes physical abuse.
What do you think? Dimitar should play the whole match or start in the bench?
