CL knockout: Inter vs ManUtd
The draw results for the UEFA Champions League first knockout round are ready. Manchester United faces Internazionale who has Mourinho, the special one, as new manager.
I have to say, when Mourinho was Chelsea’s manager, the matches between them were very stressful. Mourinho helped Chelsea get 2 domestic leagues in a row and his tactics and the team he built made them reach semifinals and final of the Champions League in the two recent years. But I hate his tactics; he seems to rely on defending almost catenaccio style and searching for one goal mainly in injury time. This begins to worry me, paired with the “curse of the CL previous winner” that gets them eliminated in the first knockout round.
The other great matches include English teams. Barcelona tie is very easy. The complete list is:
In other news, Dimitar is well and training. He was photographed on the pitch during a training session at the Todoroki Stadioum on December 19, in Kawazaki Japan.
