Home vs Sunderland
Manchester United got a draw with Sunderland at Old Trafford which took the team down the EPL table. The score was 2:2 with a goal from Dimitar and a truly helping hand from Ferdinand’s brother.
The starting XI was: Foster as goalkeeper; O’Shea, Vidic, Evans and Evra as defenders; Nani, Fletcher, Scholes and Welbeck as midfielders; Rooney and Dimitar as forwards.
Again, the visiting side scored first. Sunderland scored in the 6th minute. And again Scholes received a yellow card for a foul on the goal scorer a few minutes later. For the second half, Anderson substituted Scholes at the beginning. Dimitar’s amazing bicycle kick to score his team’s goal was in the 50th minute; assisted by O’Shea. However, the second goal from the visiting club came a few minutes later in the 57th minute. Fletcher also received a yellow card. Later on, Carrick substituted him. Also, Valencia substituted Welbeck. In the 84th minute, a Sunderland player was sent off for a second yellow card. And then, the miracle came in the 92nd minute: an own goal from our captain’s young brother. Anton Ferdinand scored the own goal to granting the team a precious draw. The error was provoked by Evra.
ManUtd.com: "Dimitar Berbatov – His goal was technically wonderful and he was constantly trying to lift his team-mates. Some things worked for him, others didn’t, which summed up United’s performance as a whole."
Goal.com gave Dimitar their top mark: “Berbatov - 8 - Could have been awarded the score for his outrageous overhead kick alone. Was otherwise impressive amongst the mediocrity around him as he, at least, was able to find other players wearing red.”

Chelsea beat Liverpool on Sunday, regaining top spot with 3 points clear of ManUtd.
