Polls: EPL talk

The EPL Talk website has launched a number of polls for the 2008/09 English Premier League season. Those polls and awards are not official but it is nice to see the result in every category. Categories range from type of player, manager, club and useful websites. Dimitar is nominated in the “Best EPL Striker” but at the time of this writing he has only 1%, with Torres leading with 38%. The polls close by the end of this month. Vote for your favorite striker and see other categories to acknowledge other Manchester United players. Remember, the polls are just for fun as the players will not receive anything or even know if they won.

So, Dimitar was not that popular in the EPL Talk poll. He was one with the fewest votes, with less than 1%. Torres won and Rooney came on second. Other nomines were: Wayne Rooney 18%, Fernando Torres 40%, Andrei Arshavin 11%, Nicolas Anelka 8%, Robinho 1%, Dimitar Berbatov <1%, Robbie Keane 4%, Carlos Tevez 6%, Didier Drogba 3%.

In other categories, Manchester United came second as the most exciting Premier League team; Liverpool won. Edwin van der Sar was also second as best goalkeeper. Vidic was also second as best defender. Cristiano was second as best midfielder. Ferguson was also second as best manager. Vidic was again second as best player of the year.
