Next Saturday, Bulgaria will play their sixth qualifying match for the 2010 World Cup. Bulgaria is in Europe’s group 8. They are in third place with 7 points in 5 matches, behind Italy with 14 points and Ireland with 12 points, both in 6 matches. This must-win-match will be played in Sofia against Ireland. The remaining 4 matches are to be played in September. Dimitar was named by Bulgarian coach Stoilov to take part in this match. The complete list of players required for the match was released on May 20. Stilian Petrov from Aston Villa, Martin Petrov and Valeri Bojinov from Manchester City were also named.
