Dimitar at Old Trafford on deadline day
September 1st marks the end of the summer transfer window. Today last year, Dimitar became part of Manchester United in a saga worthy of a mini series. Since winter 2008 the United fans knew of the interest in the former Spur’s striker. However, Tottenham would not lower their valuation of the player, above 30 million GBP. Ferguson waited until de last day; with an offer accepted from the City neighbors which prompted the signing. Skysports showed this video around midnight as confirmation of Dimitar joining United and refusing City’s offer.
